- Eat one orange vegetable a day.
- Eat dark leafy green daily (1 cup).
- Eat 4 to 7 vegetables a day.
- Eat 2 to 4 fruits per day, 2 acid and 2 non acid.
- Drink herbal teas. Use fresh parsley, mint, or ginger root which are available in the supermarket.
- Eliminate sodas from your diet. Two reasons: sugar content wreaks havoc on the liver and the acid upsets the body's pH levels (reducing the body's natural immunity).
Vitamin C
is critical for the immune system. The body processes 250mg of Vitamin C per half hour. Oranges, strawberries, etc. are excellent sources of Vitamin C. You can obtain a time-release vitamin C as a supplement.
- Limit sweet intake to one sweet a day. Make treats natural food items such as fruit or nuts, or other non-sugar or salted food items.
